Mateja Lukezic is a leading Slovenian freelance illustrator and she has been drawing for as long as she remembers. She graduated in the School of Arts at the University of Nova Gorica from Animation and Scenography.  She lives in Ljubljana with her lovely partner, growing up children and little fluffy dog Ben. She is inspired by everyday life, nature and animals. When she is not drawing, she love spending time with her dog and family in nature or reading books and watching cartoons. Mateja Lukezic is renowned across Europe's leading Children's Book community and she has created many Children's Picture Books to date.
